This past week has been an incredibly busy week for us here at Vibealicious! We completely rewrote Notify in nine days, and then pushed beta one on Sunday night. Our beta testers responded with tons of quality feedback, we fixed the issues reported, and pushed beta two. As long as no major issues are found, a public release of Notify should be out by early next week. Thanks once again to all the testers involved!

Now, in other news, we’re also announcing a new project we’re working on. This one is going to be our first iPhone app, called Classes.

Notify – Stay in the know about your inbox.

Over the past week, I’ve been toying with the idea of releasing Notify, but decided against it since the old codebase isn’t really up to snuff. It’s not really easily maintainable, or anything along those lines. So.. I’ve decided to do something about that.

Over the next two weeks, I will be completely rewriting the Notify codebase, to make it more modular, and therefore more maintainable. I’m also going to be reworking the user interface, into a single window system. Not quite a menubar application, not quite a window based app. Something in between. I think everyone will be much happier with this new direction, as it’ll put everything in one place.
