Vibealicious is a software company based in Ottawa, Canada that focuses on the Mac platform. This page outlines some of our software licensing practices – fun stuff indeed.

Software updates and licensing practices.

Consider the version number x.y.z – otherwise known as major.minor.bugfix.

Software Updates

Vibealicious offers free updates for all y (minor) and z (bugfix) versions. Updates to the x (major) version are not free. The cost of the update is priced at about 50-60% of the full license.

Legacy Software Support

Vibealicious offers support (eg, bugfixes) of purchased legacy software for a period of 9 months after purchase. Legacy software is defined as software which has been replaced by a new x (major) version, otherwise known as a major update. We offer no guaranteed support of free software for any period after replacement.

Furthermore, support of a particular version of Mac OS X is not guaranteed throughout all minor and bugfix versions of a major release. For example, version 2.0 of SomeProduct could support 10.5 and 10.6, whereas version 2.1 could only support 10.6. If this occurs, we will offer the previous y (minor) versions for download.

Software Purchase Refunds

We offer refunds on purchased software (minus payment processing fees) for up to 14 days after purchase, to PayPal accounts only. Because of this, please make sure that our software works for you before purchasing it. Our products come with a minimum of a 14 day trial, so please use the trial to determine this.

Bulk Software Licenses

Please contact us for information and prices on bulk software purchases. The price per license depends on how many copies you would like to purchase.
